Withdrawls

Withdrawal by Request of School

1) Caregiver(s) will be informed as to the school’s concerns and possibility of withdrawal.

2) Be More Montessori will ensure that all strategies and resources are utilized before such a decision to withdraw a student is made.

3) Caregiver(s) will be requested to attend a meeting with the teacher(s) and Administrator to discuss and address all concerns and questions.

4) Caregiver(s) will be given clear data regarding the request of withdrawal and what procedure took place to come to this decision. 

5) Recommendation will be made for an alternative placement for the child.

6) A specific date for withdrawal will be stipulated in writing to the caregiver(s).

There will be no tolerance for children that demonstrate repetitive aggressive and harmful behaviour towards the other children and /or staff. These children may be asked to withdraw from the school immediately. The staff will ensure that communication is made with caregiver with the child(ren)’s best interest in mind.

Voluntary Withdrawal

Children may be voluntarily withdrawn from the program on the first day of any month prior to October 1st. A minimum one month written notification is required for withdrawal, otherwise fees for the months will be payable. There will be no refunds for withdrawal after October 1st. In the best interest of the other children and the program, the school reserves the right to withdraw a child if necessary.
